Positions to Play
๐ŸŽค
Hum along! Play each position and go "hmmm" matching the pitch. Your brain connects pitch to position much faster this way.

๐ŸŽฏ Goal
Understand that the same note exists on multiple strings at different pitches (octaves). Train your ear to recognise the same note higher and lower.
๐Ÿ“‹ How to Use
1
The Week Banner shows your focus note for this week. Start there.
2
Look at the positions list โ€” each row shows an octave version: Lower, Middle, Higher.
3
Play each position on guitar one by one. Go from Lower โ†’ Middle โ†’ Higher slowly.
4
Hum along with each position โ€” just go "hmmm" matching the pitch. This is the most important step!
5
Tap each row to check it off once you've played it. Press Mark Done โœ“ when finished with the note.
๐Ÿ“… Weekly Rotation
The app automatically moves to the next note each week: C โ†’ D โ†’ E โ†’ F โ†’ G โ†’ A then back to C. The banner always tells you this week's focus note. You can still explore other notes using the tabs anytime.
๐ŸŽค Why Humming Matters
When your ears, voice, and fingers work together, your brain locks in the note much faster than fingers alone. You don't need to be a singer โ€” just go "hmmm" matching the guitar's pitch. Even 30 seconds of this per note makes a big difference.
โฑ Recommended Time
3 minutes daily. One note per day, all 3 octave positions. Don't rush through all 6 notes โ€” one per week is the right pace.
